Not ready to commit to a season?

You can play a single game this week instead. A pickup game is a one-off game anyone can join, with no team to bring and no season to sign up for. Book one spot, turn up, play.

Everything about leagues

Can I sign up on my own?

Yes — join as a free agent and we'll place you on a team that needs players. It's a great way to meet people and get regular games.

Where can I see the league schedule?

The schedule is shared a few days before play starts, once registration closes and we know how many teams are in. Your team will likely play at different hours each week, but always within the timeframe communicated for the league.

Can I choose my team?

Yes. You can buy several slots to register with a friend or a whole team. If you join as a solo player, we place you on a team with other solo players.

Can we have subs?

Yes. Teams of solo players always include substitutes, and a team slot always allows more players on the roster than on the field. The exact numbers are in each league description.

Do we always play at the same hour?

No. Several games run on each date within the stated time frame, so your slot varies from week to week within that range.

When is the latest I can join?

Spots are limited. Registration usually closes a week before the league starts, and a league in high demand can sell out sooner.

What is the minimum age to join a GoodRec league?

You must be 18 or older to join any GoodRec league or game.

Do winners really get prizes?

They do — championship shirts, medals, a trophy, and a golden boot for the league's top scorer.

What if my team can't make a game?

Let us know ahead of time through the app. Standings and the schedule are managed by the league, so we'll keep everyone updated.

Bring your squad. Chase the title.

Our hope is that GoodRec brings people together. We love hearing that best friends have met and group chats have been born through our pickup games.
