Feeling ready for some friendly, social, no-pressure league play? Join our 3v3 Pickleball Fall League for “Experienced Beginners”! If you’re starting to be comfortable around a pickleball court, we’d love to have you join us; everybody is welcome, though we suggest players with DUPR ratings between 1.0 and 2.5.
The matches will all take place at Pacific Beach Tennis Club (outdoor courts). The league will run for 8 weeks, on Saturdays evenings from 3:30PM to 7:30PM (two 2-hour timeslots), from August 30th to October 18th.
This league features 3-person teams, so find a couple of friends and sign up! Alternatively, if you’d like to join solo, that works just as well; we’ll be happy to find a team for you.

Communication
- 📱 All updates will happen through WhatsApp (the popular chatting app)

Solo Players
- 🤷🏻♂️ No team? No problem! Sign up solo and we’ll create a team for you
- 👥 If you have a team of friends ready, add their names to the form and we’ll set that up for you
- 🧩 If your submitted team is more than or less than 3 players, your team may include somebody you don’t know. It’s a great way to make new friends!
Weather & Field Issues
- 🌧️ Matches postponed because of weather, field issues, or emergencies will always be rescheduled
- 📅 The league may be extended by up to three weeks to allow for reschedulings (if they arise as indicated in the previous point)
- 📍 It is possible, although unlikely, that matches are moved to a field within 25 minutes’ driving distance. Should this happen, it would be announced with plenty of time in advance
- ❌ If delays exceed three weeks, the league will be canceled and a partial refund will be issued for all remaining games
- 🙋🏻♂️ No refunds will be offered if delays or extensions are for 3 weeks or less
League Flexibility
- 📆 We’ll do our very best to keep dates as advertised, but it’s distantly possible for the start date to be delayed by up to 3 weeks (because of factors outside of our control)
- ⏰ We’ll try to be punctual, but matches may start up to one hour earlier or later; if earlier, we’d let you know beforehand
- ⚠️ Changes within these parameters are not considered sufficient reason for a refund
Scheduling Flexibility
- 🗓️ If necessary because of changes or reschedulings, “bye weeks” and double-headers may happen to accommodate all teams
- ✅ Unless the league is cancelled, you are guaranteed the total number of matches
No-Shows & Forfeits
- 🚫 There will be no replacement games for no-shows
- 🏟️ The court would be made available for practice or free play instead
Refund Policy
- 💸 You receive a full refund if the league does not run/is cancelled
- 🚑 No refunds for injuries or personal situations, though you are free to set up a replacement by a friend (and you can arrange $ with them separately)
- 👀 All other refund-related items detailed above apply
