Beginner Pickleball (Level 1.0 – 2.0) players have limited game knowledge. They have likely taken one or two lessons and are beginning to learn the basics, such as serving and scoring. Beginner/Novice (Level 2.5 – 3.0) players are improving consistency in their serves and understand the two-bounce rule, applying it most of the time. They know where to position themselves during serves, serve returns, and general play. Novice/Intermediate (Level 3.0 – 3.2) players focus on keeping serves and returns deeper and advance quickly to the non-volley zone when possible. They are more aware of their partner’s positioning and move in coordination. Intermediate pickleball (Level 3.2 – 3.8) players exhibit a solid understanding of the game’s rules and consistently execute serves and returns that land deep. Communication and teamwork with a partner improve, including covering the court and moving effectively to the net. Advanced pickleball (Level 3.9 – 4.0) players anticipate opponents’ shots, and position themselves effectively on the court. They strategically place serves and returns to gain an advantage, and excel in teamwork, seamlessly switching court positions with their partner.
That is normal, the app allows you to purchase spots for the league/clinic. The GoodRec team will contact you to confirm that your registration was successful and to share information on how the communication will be conducted.
As long as you received the invoice on your email you are good to go. Keep an eye on the app messages, when the start of the league/clinic gets closer you will be contacted by one of our agents with further steps.
The schedule of the league/clinic is shared days before we start playing when we close registration and know the exact amount of teams that will be playing the league/clinic. Your team will likely play at different hours each week, but always between the communicated timeframe, if you have any special time related request, you can communicate it to our agent who will contact you before the league/clinic starts.
You must be 18 years or older to join any GoodRec league, clinic or game.
No, we play multiple games every date between the mentioned time frame. Your team’s exact slot will vary week to week within that range.
We have limited spots. Our registrations often close one week before the league/clinic starts, but we may run out of spots earlier for leagues/clinics in high demand.
A refund will only be issued if the cancellation is made at least 15 days before the event's start date and is due to medical reasons, provided that a medical statement is submitted confirming the inability to participate in sports.
